Mission

BTTBP is a 501 (c) 3 corporation that operates a website and related activities designed to serve the LGBT community by assisting individuals in living their most physically healthy and emotionally fulfilling lives. Targeted areas include:

(1) Life Wellness: Positive self concept and self acceptance in a society that often is not accepting and affirming of LGBT persons.  We will provide guidance (and referral to local resources when necessary) that will help obtain positive Life Wellness goals.

(2) HIV & Health -- prevention, testing, treatment and medication adherence, status disclosure and
safer sex, as well as support resources for those living with HIV;

(3) Substance Use/Abuse Outreach – support resources for those seeking sobriety, recovery, and a healthy life, including identification of local resources when necessary that will best support individual goals.

The primary purpose of the organization and website is to connect any individual in any part of the United States to local resources to meet their needs with quality services delivered in an LGBT affirming environment.   In particular, BTTBP strives to connect individuals in rural or remote areas of the country to services at the same level as those generally found in urban areas.
