Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

We will provide as many bicycles and drill as many boreholes as we can raise money for. The need is almost endless, and we can scale up our production in direct proportion to the funds we are able to raise.

We are using direct mail, application for grants, social media, and reaching out to the general public for monetary assistance.
We are exploring new avenues for revenue production, and will also seek crowd sourcing help for our projects.

We have a social media friends list of over 1000, and a mailing list of over 500. We are capable of reaching all of these individuals by personal contact.
Since each project stands on its own, as funds are received which cover the cost of either a borehole or a bike purchase, the project is undertaken and quickly completed. We have a long term team of volunteers in Uganda, who help with many local details and who work at no cost to the Foundation. Our Foundation has a primary goal of putting at least 95% of collected funds directly into our projects. So far, although we are working on a small scale, our non project expenses (State corporate fees, government fees, etc,) have been less than 1% of revenue, and over 99% of collections either buys bikes or drills wells.

Progress
Our successful borehole project now brings water to two villages .
Disapppointment
After 3 dry holes were dug in our last attempt, we were forced to abandon the project in that particular village, as after boring over 600 meters with no practical return of water it was determined that village was not a site which would be able to sustain a water producing borehole.
We are now identifying the next village for our borehole project.

We have given away many bikes, but there is no end to the need. There is no disappointment here, other than the frustration of wanting to do more than our immediate funding will allow, and not being able to do our work on a much faster timetable that more funding will permit.
