Training homeschool students to speak boldly and change the world for Christ. Stoa is building a world-class community of speakers, debaters, and family members committed to Speaking Boldly and Changing the World for Christ in their homes, churches, communities, colleges, universities, and the workplace. Stoa pursues its Vision and Mission by: -Facilitating opportunities for competition and training. -Building a world-class community. -Equipping Christian coaches in the art and science of public speaking and debate excellence. -Promoting the development of a Biblical worldview. -Sharing the benefits of speech and debate with the homeschool community. -Starting new Stoa speech and debate clubs.

National Invitatitional Tournament of Champions (NITOC)

Speak boldly. Change the world for Christ. This is Stoa's mission. To accomplish it, we proudly conduct the annual National Invitational Tournament of Champions- NITOC. Hosted by Christian universities, Stoa invites 600 top-ranked homeschool competitors and their families from across the nation for a week of stellar speech and debate competition. Stoa uses the open and public Speechranks website to determine invitations to NITOC. Stoa tournaments must meet specific minimum criteria for competitions as specified on the Speechranks website.

An annual program, Stoa Academy, provides academic classes for adults to coach and mentor our Stoa competitors in their clubs and homes. The Academy prepares and equips adults with specific forensics, leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
Stoa Academy is held around the country each year and past programs have been held in such locations as Dallas, Denver, Seattle.
