What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Military Base Events

AITAF partners with military bases all over the world to provide a communal artistic experience to the military personnel stationed there. AITAF staff and professional actor volunteers travel together to the base and typically execute the performance the following day. After the play reading, the artists participate in a Q&A session with the audience, focusing on the themes and process of the work.

In addition to performing, AITAF team members invest time in training with military officers on base, learning the specialties of that branch. This ensures a true exchange between the artists and service members so that each group is enriched by the others' skill sets and life experiences.
