To help our neighbors of all ages to become self-sufficient, eliminate hunger, and improve overall health. We look to instill hope by creating equitable access to food, relevant resources, and opportunities through our community partnerships. We challenge ourselves to be flexible enough to change course in midstream when our mission does not align with the needs of our neighbors.

Food Pantry and hot meal distribution

2 food pantries along with a hot meal is served each month. Distribution includes food for five days or 15 meals. Distribution may include hygiene and household items.

Program focuses on education to prevent senior opioid addiction. Open monthly discussions relating to pain management and the abuse of opioids and narcotic drugs. Share information for the treatment of pain. Provide information for treatment and abuse of opioids.

Provide instruction on ridding homes of bedbugs. Items provided to clients to assist with the cleaning and restoration following an infestation. Items provided to clients include, spray, plastic bags and totes, new bedding with pillows, towels, and a clean outfit with socks.

Monthly program for seniors 60 and over. The program is an opportunity for the senior community to come together for an afternoon of fun. A community speaker provides information that relates to subjects of interest to seniors. Listing of current community resources are shared. A meal is served, games are played and prized are awarded during the afternoon. A food bag and hygiene items are provided to all seniors.

Training young people between the ages of 10-17 basic life skills, giving back by volunteering with a non-profit, community engagement and financial literacy.
