What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Program 1

PET RESCUE AND ADOPTION. During 2019, 334 cats and 138 dogs were adopted. All pets were spayed/neutered, wormed, placed on flea prevention, vaccinated against rabies, Parvo, Distemper and provided medical care as deemed necessary. Cats were tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV. Pets were evaluated to match a potential adopter's interests and life style with the pet's needs.

LOW COST SPAY/NEUTER CERTIFICATES. A second program service accomplishment, "Cause for Paws" promotes low cost spay/neuter/rabies certificates to the public through participating veterinarians who agree to lower their prices in an effort to reduce the number of unwanted pets. "Cause for Paws" is a successful program that connects people with caring vets who see the value of creating a positive client relationship and reducing the overpopulation of pets.
