What we aim to solve
Minnie's Food Pantry addresses the need to provide healthy meals to families that are in need. We intentionally provide them with complete meals that include fruits, vegetables, meats and non-perishable items. In addition to providing the items needed to prepare complete meals, Minnie's Food Pantry provides access to additional resources such as health and wellness tools, recipes, and more! Since inception, Minnie's Food Pantry has distributed more than 15 million meals to children and families in need, expanded into schools across the nation and makes an effort to provide for those most vulnerable including veterans and senior citizens through our Minnie's On the Go program.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Minnie's Food Pantry goal is to provide healthy meals for families in need and to educate families in the community so they can become contributors to society.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We partner with local grocery stores and markets to receive fresh fruit, vegetables and complete meals to the families we serve. We partner with banks to teach classes on financial literacy. We teach families how to cook healthier meals with the food provided to them. We periodically offer health fairs to the families we serve.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Minnies food Pantry is capable of serving thousands of families through our feeding programs. We also provide healthy snack packs for kids that come to the food pantry with their parents. We are able to do this because of our corporate and individual donors. We have trucks that pick of food six days a week from stores to make sure we get them to families that we serve. We deliver food to schools and to rural areas.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Our charity has seen a 37% increase in the number of families that we serve and we have increased the amount of food distributed to the families that we serve. We have served almost nine million meals to the community. We have increased service to our senior citizens and veterans. We also started providing 15 supplemental meals and we now distribute at least fifty meals to the families that come to our charity. We have had a huge impact delivering food to senior citizens and the day labor workers. We had our first giveaway in Los Angeles and we have locations now in New York and Pennsylvania. Minnie's also partnered with school district to help feed thousands of their students. We are putting food pantries inside of the schools to ensure no child is hungry.
