What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

The world today is in desperate need of Gospel, but due to various differences, there are many corners of the world where a traditional church may not reach and spread the Good News. Even at places where a traditional church exists, the number of their congregation is slowly decreasing. World Christian Restaurant Ministries, Inc. is here to provide evangelism at your everyday business locations, particularly in the restaurant and service industry.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Let the Gospel enters the restaurant, and the good work continues from the restaurant. We would like to see all restaurants, starting with Chinese restaurants, to maintain a high level of professionalism in serving healthy and affordable food that represents the Christian values, and that these values are able to be carried out to their customers, hence completes the evangelism and the Great Commission.

Outreach to neighborhood Chinese restaurants and provide them with counseling and guidance with the help of their local churches. Connect with Chinese churches worldwide to identify and foster their local Chinese population working in the restaurant and service industry.

Our President and Executive Director, Rev. Esther Lou, has over decades of experience in running Christian Chinese restaurants in the United States during the 1980-90s. With her earnest passion to answer God's call to evangelize to all Chinese population, including those in China, we have set out to recruited many senior pastors and their churches in the US, Peru, EU, Canada, and Hong Kong to be our partners. Together, we will be able to fulfill our mission.

We have expanded our program from the United States to its neighboring countries and the world, including but not limited to Canada, Peru, Chile, Argentina, United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Australia.

We would like to continue deepening our roots in countries like China and further expand into countries on the Africa continent. In 2018, China changed its policy on religious activities again and tightened its grip on any religious practices within the country, destroying and limiting the freedom exercised by many registered churches as well as home churches. We would like to be able to pick up the burden and continue evangelizing in China through our restaurants and other Christian businesses therein.
