Mission
AFHAR is a non-profit no kill rescue saving lives throughout the state of Florida. We specialize in small dogs. All our dogs are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped. We take care of all medical issues, socialize and prepare them for their forever homes. We rescue strays, take in owner surrenders and, of course, rescues from death row. We are proud of all the lives that we have saved and look forward to saving many more.

A Forever Home Animal Rescue (AFHAR) is a non-profit, no kill rescue saving lives throughout the state of Florida. We specialize in small dogs however we do take a larger dog if it is peril of being euthanized. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped. We take care of all medical issues, socialize and prepare them for their forever homes. We rescue strays, take in owner surrenders and, of course rescues from death row. We are proud of all the lives that we have saved and look forward to saving many more.
