UNTAMED SPIRIT THERAPEUTIC AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

Untamed Spirit strives to make a positive impact in the community by empowering those with special needs and mental health challenges. Future goals include a permanent facility that will include therapeutic riding and unmounted equine assisted activities, holistic gardens and the ability to partner with mental health professionals in a farm environment to help reduce stress, anxiety and issues such as bullying and negative self thoughts. Untamed Spirit also strives to be the forerunner in the field of Integrated Wellness through the interactions of traditional and integrative therapies. Educational Workshops are offered throughout the year in order to partner with others for the benefit of those in the community.

Untamed Spirit continually seeks like-minded visionaries who embrace the Integrated Wellness concept and who believe integrating Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies with holistic and traditional wellness activities will allow those with special needs and mental health challenges to reach their full potential, and thus become involved members of our community.

Untamed Spirit has a dedicated staff with over 50 years combined experience in the Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies and Mental Health Counseling fields. Staff has a consistent and positive track record of fund raising and public relations in this industry and a forerunner in innovation and vision. Funds are generated through yearly program services, corporate and individual donations, grants, fundraising and appeals

Accomplishments in past six years include expansion of weekly riding lessons, increased Educational Workshops and Clinics and increased community partnerships.

Future goals include a permanent location for the program, integration of a Wellness Center, expansion of weekly program services to include foster care and military programs, and a Mobile Equestrian Outreach program.
