What we aim to solve
EarthX aims to address environmental issues on both a local and global scale through education, film and live events. We encourage and inspire people from around the world to make small, everyday changes that can help create lasting environmental effects. Through our various programs EarthX promotes the impactful environmental work being done by scientists, activists, corporations and other entities around the world. EarthX advocates for meaningful change through actionable solutions.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
EarthxTV
EarthxTV will feature inclusive conversations, environmental storytelling and interactive experiences. A guiding force for collective change, EarthX is committed to bridging the divide on environmental issues and fostering constructive dialogue between unlikely parties through new media – challenging the mediums through which we congregate over the future of the planet and work together to correct the course of history in an increasingly virtual world.
Programming will include opinion, analysis and reporting specials along with creative storytelling that explores environmental topics around wildlife, people and culture, science and technology, justice and policy, and business. EarthxTV will also feature themed series that highlight focus points in the environmental conversation through multimedia and cross- ideological dialogue.
EarthxEDU
EarthX is committed to promoting education that engages students and inspires them to take action as they become good stewards of the planet. To this end, we are a platform to share educational resources and showcase youth in action.
EarthxEDU promotes environmental education through STEAM Curriculum and a teacher resource library. EarthX STEAM Curriculum includes free and downloadable lessons for grades K-12 and is aligned to both National Standards and the TEKS (TX). The lessons are currently being expanded to include Virtual Field Trips as lesson extensions.
EarthX's teacher resource library, a searchable collection of environmental lessons, is suitable for both classroom and distance learning for students in grades K-12. Culled from a variety of environmental organizations, these lessons cover many different environmental topics and are continually updated.
EarthxEDU student competitions include the Youth Film Challenge, Eco-Art Contest, and EarthxHack.
EarthxFilm
EarthxFilm uses the power of film, and emerging media to raise awareness of environmental and social global issues. EarthX promotes film through a film festival during our EXPO which features numerous features and short documentaries at screenings and events across the city of Dallas.
EarthxFilms are available to view at EarthxTV.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
EarthX strives to provide an arena to educate and engage the public regarding environmental problems and solutions and to champion those who are addressing local and global ecological issues. EarthX works with a large audience comprised of youth, adults and individuals from around the world to educate on the power of everyday change to create a last effect on the planet.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
At EarthX, our platform is used to promote the research and work of environmental agencies around the world. EarthX engages in strategic partnerships to ensure that their work has a platform and that there is a way to promote their work and/or research. Through our partnerships, we encourage collaboration and the continuation of environmental study and research. We encourage this through the promotion of their research on EarthxTV, at our conferences and at our Earth Day Expo.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
EarthX is a global platform and connector, our organization works with many foundations, companies and individuals nationally and internationally. EarthX promotes the work of scientist, politicians, inventors, activist and many more who are concerned about the current state of the environment. Through our work with these groups and individuals, EarthX is able to bolster current environmental work that is happening around the world and help educate and inspire the public in ways they are able to aid in the fight for the environment.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
EarthX began simply as Earth Day Texas, a small outdoor event created to help support environmental initiatives, companies and foundations in Dallas, Texas. Since its creation, EarthX has expanded our original event to include over 600 exhibitors and 400 speakers at our Earth Day Expo. The 2020 Earth Day Expo brought our annual event to its largest audience ever through a virtual livestream reaching all corners of the globe. The world tuned in for this environmental event of a lifetime. Conservatives and Liberals. Democrats and Republicans. Activists with different viewpoints, all sharing a vision for a healthy and sustainable planet. And at the end of it all a new television platform was born, EarthxTV.
EarthX continues to grow its reach to have a large global impact through our extensive list of programs.
