Mission

VietDreams is a 501(c)(3) organization founded by musicians, artists, journalists and music enthusiasts who all share a common goal – to provide disadvantaged children in Vietnam and United States with better educational opportunities and a more healthy, sustainable way of living. It is our duty to provide these children with vital medical supplies and educational assistance so that they may live better lives and one day fulfill their dreams. Some of our projects include donating medical supplies, workshops and most recently, providing access to clean water, which will reduce water-borne illness among children.

Clean Water

We are currently helping more than 274 locations with clean drinking water systems at schools & orphanages in Quang Nam, Danang, Hue, Gia Lai, Kontum, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Ngai and Nha Trang areas benefiting more than 92,000 kids. One of the main job that we have been doing there since July 2011 is improving water quality by drilling new wells, installing filtration systems and water drinking system so kids and caregivers can drink and cook directly from the faucets.

Five powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?

Our goal is to create an environment where every child is safe, self-sufficient, and able to pursue their education. We plan to install at least 30 systems in Vietnam each year from 2013.<br/>But what sets our organization apart is our unwavering commitment and passion. We are devoted to giving these children a healthier lifestyle and a promising educational future. Our efforts are focused on children living in the poorer, rural areas of Vietnam. We do not discriminate among ethnic backgrounds, religions, minorities or medical circumstances. Every child deserves our assistance

Viet Dreams' plan is to bring clean drinking water to as many as 20,000 kids per year or equivalent to 50 kindergarten and elementary schools. We also promote our projects and events to younger volunteers here in US , in order to educate them more in understanding the value of life and how to be a better person while helping other less fortune than them.

In the last 7 years, we have been able to raised up to $130,000 USD/year and helped more than 59,000 thousands students through out remote areas in Vietnam. Each year, we orchestrate at least 2 big fundraising events where most of our generous donors would come and pick the schools they would like to help in future. We also have a asset which equal to more than $60,000 used for catastrophes and other event needed urgent help.

In the first 4 years, more than 70 locations received our clean drinking water, students and kids are now willing to drink water from these systems , instead of other dirty sources. They also made a good impact/change on their families and communities. Communities around start coming and collecting clean water from these systems too.

We are able to install at least 10 system every 4 months, and at least at the end of this year, our 174th system will be in place with more than 30,000 fortunate kids will get clean drinking water
