This Time Tomorrow Foundation
Providing financial support to families fighting cancer. It is our goal to help those affected today reach the tomorrows they deserve.
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
When a cancer diagnosis occurs, the logical concerns go out to the affected family in the areas of both physical and emotional hardships. The often overlooked hardship of financial distress is an area rarely focused on by non-profit organizations. Time off of work, co-insurance, deductibles, travel and household expenses are critical, yet rarely discussed, problems. The "This Time Tomorrow Foundation" uses music & the arts to raise funds to give DIRECT financial support to vetted families that are struggling due to a cancer diagnosis, through our "Random Acts of Kindness" giving program: We surprise people fighting all types of cancer, in their homes when they have no idea we are coming. Complete strangers handing them a check and giving them hugs. It's simply priceless.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
THIS TIME TOMORROW'S "RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS"
The act of giving to a stranger is rare.
The act of giving to a stranger fighting cancer just doesn’t happen.
This Time Tomorrow Foundation is a rare and unconditional foundation. All the funds raised go towards our Random Acts of Kindness program. Where we surprise people fighting all types of cancer, in their homes and when they have no idea we are coming. Nominees are submitted by friends and family of the affected individual. The nominee is then vetted by TTT's RAK committee to be sure that 1. There is a cancer diagnosis 2. There is a financial need. 3. The funds are available. If all 3 criteria are met, then an appropriate time is scheduled to give a financial gift directly to the affected family through the "Random Act of Kindness."

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
The This Time Tomorrow Foundation aims to give all nominated and vetted "Random Acts of Kindness" families a DIRECT financial gift that is often used for Time off of work, co-insurance, deductibles, travel and household expenses. The monies gifted are often a "stopgap" used by the affected family to lessen the financial burden of dealing with the expenses incurred during cancer treatment.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Every year, The This Time Tomorrow Foundation holds multiple fundraising events that include: Our "Storytellers" Gala: A music infused gala at Milwaukee's finest hotel, "The Pfister." 500+ attendees flood the Pfister's 7th floor ballrooms for an evening filled with a red carpet arrival, music, a beautiful sit down meal and extraordinary silent and live auction items. Additionally, the annual reveal of the new version of the song "This Time Tomorrow" and video, as reimagined by a new TTT artist happens. As of 2017, the song will have been re-recorded in a different style, by a different artist, NINE times! Each year the popularity of the new artist has grown and sales of all versions of TTT go directly to fund the mission. In 2017 Rascal Flatts' Jay De Marcus & friends have reimagined the song, guaranteeing that TTT is taking another giant step in the right direction! Other annual fundraising efforts include an early June "Sporting Clay" event, a late July golf outing, a "general ask" fund drive and various other revenue generators that have included fashion shows, chef dinners, marathon runs, motorcycle poker runs and many smaller musical events, to name a few.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
The This Time Tomorrow Foundation is led by a group of 12 diverse business leaders that volunteer their time to further the mission. No salaries are taken and there are no paid employees whatsoever. The foundation is run from the individual businesses that the board already work from, so there are no overhead expenses either. Additionally, TTT rely on a group of over 200 people who have volunteered their time to help, since TTT's incorporating in 2011. All "Random Acts of Kindness" financial aid recipients are visited PERSONALLY to receive their gift. TTT will never spend donated monies to achieve this goal. Since some TTT board members have business and business partners all over the United States, we can always reach the nominated and vetted family without incurring additional expenses.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Since becoming a 501(c)3 in 2011, The This Time Tomorrow Foundation has helped over 100 families that have been nominated to receive financial assistance through our "Random Acts of Kindness" program. In each case, the family that had experienced the cancer diagnosis has been: Nominated, vetted and had been determined to be experiencing financial difficulty due to the diagnosis. The first 3 years started very slowly but as processes have been established, board of directors have been onboarded and donations have begun to come in, the percentage of these recipient families has multiplied tenfold since the first 3 years of the foundation's inception.
