What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
SW FL Orphan Care Network
To equip churches with long-term, custom orphan care strategies in southwest Florida to ensure they have a growing local foster care and global orphan care ministry that is long-term in nature and effective in operation. We are continuing to build the church network of care in our region one church at a time. Ultimately, we want to see every church in every community in SW FL caring for every orphan and child in foster care.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
We are working towards a day when every church in every community is caring for every orphan. We know that we need to have practical solutions and offer best practices in order to accomplish that goal. So, we've established a website that will allow us to equip church leaders online, so that they can serve their communities immediately and not have to wait to connect with an orphan care strategist. We also offer on-site training sessions to help churches put together their custom orphan care strategy. By offering online curriculum, on-site training, and continual educational opportunities, we hope to equip thousands of church leaders in the years to come so that children in every community will have a better opportunity at a forever family.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We offer on-site, custom orphan care strategies for churches.
We offer online training for church leaders in order to broaden our reach.
We will continue to offer ebooks, books, and other educational resources on our website as they come available.
We serve as National Coaches for the National Church Initiative through the Christian Alliance for Orphans.
We train at major conferences.
We will continue to encourage churches to work in networks in their region to have a broader outcome for children in the region.
We will advocate on the local, national and international level to ensure that every child is cared for and has the best opportunity for a forever family.
We understand that a fully equipped leadership team at a church will uncap the incredible potential of care that lies inside of every congregation. When this happens, children benefit and the church flourishes. That's why we say, "for the sake of church & child". Since the Bible speaks to the church when talking about caring for orphans, we decided to help them accomplish that challenge by giving step by step guidance, clear direction and critical resources.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
With the roll out of our new website in 2014, we made it possible to train every church in every community to care for every orphan. Before that time, we were beholdened to our Executive Director to be in every church that we partnered with. Now, we have the capacity to accomplish both. We rolled out our online curriculum May 2014 which will allow church leaders to be trained wherever they are. Also, we have developed a process that allows churches to develop a long-term, custom orphan care strategy.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
