Graduate & Certification Programs

Relay's graduate and certification programs are designed to teach knowledge, skills, and mindsets, build educators’ sense of self efficacy and belonging, and ensure participants feel prepared to stay in teaching for the long term. With options for aspiring and current teachers, largely online programming, and a variety of ways to tailor their course of study, Relay's programs are the right fit for any teacher.

Relay's Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT): Relay’s MAT program gives you the opportunity to earn your graduate degree and the credentials you need to launch or advance your career. Our MAT program has options for completing an apprentice year, earning a teaching certification, completing a special education certification, or completing your master’s degree only, so you can choose the path that meets your needs.

The Professional Education team works with teachers and leaders to continuously improve their craft throughout their careers. Through virtual workshops, fellowship programs, and targeted support, we help all educators strengthen student academic success, equity, and wellness.

Our offerings are practice-based and equity-centered, led by experienced practitioners and designed to build community among a diverse set of peers.

Teacher Professional Education (TPE): Relay TPE provides a space for all teachers to grow. Our approach ensures teachers leave their workshop or fellowship experience with the tools they need to make a difference for all students, tomorrow.

Leadership Programs: Relay’s Leadership Programs provide the space for leaders to inspire and empower each other, so that they can turn challenges into opportunities in their schools.
