Mission

Cielito Lindo Ranch is a New Mexico based 501(c)(3) educational non-profit dedicated to researching, developing and testing affordable sustainable technologies. We share them via on-line classes, downloads, and workshops. We also host tours of our sustainable facility, buildings, power systems and waste management. We believe that a simple, active, sustainable lifestyle is healthier, happier, less stressful, and is good for the Earth.

Sunflowers againt Climate Change

Did you know that human activity results in 10 billion metric tons of CO2 being dumped into the atmosphere each year?

Did you know that a single Sunflower plant removes about 1 pound of CO2? It also removes toxic heavy metals from the soil and even kill dangerous bacteria. Plus, we’ll press the seeds into biodiesel to operate our ranch equipment.
