What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Seacrest Foundation hopes to secure the future for even more older adults requiring the services and care that is provided by Seacrest Village and Seacrest at Home. As the "baby boomer" generation ages, greater demands will be put on Seacrest Village and Seacrest at Home, and Seacrest Foundation is the only fund raising entity responsible for generating the funds so this need can be met.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Increase Seacrest Foundation's Board of Directors involvement to increase visibility and awareness of the need to fulfill the mission of Seacrest Foundation.
Continue community outreach to donors
Increase social media presence
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Increased Board of Directors from 5 members to 18 members. Created action committees chaired by Board Members with unique responsibilities.
Assigned responsibility to Director of Philanthropy to continue and follow up with community outreach
Created team to focus on social media content and publishing
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Increased size of Board of Directors; created action committees and got Board Members to participate as committee chairs and members
Created Social Media team; share valuable content at least twice weekly on sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.
Developed strategy for increased community outreach.
