Life Enrichment Trust

Life Enrichment Trust, Inc. (LET) offers caregivers and family members a secure means to financially provide for individuals with disabilities receiving Social Security, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and/or Medical Assistance (MA) without endangering their source of monthly income, medical insurance or other government benefits.

In 2004, under the leadership and direction of Rick D. Senft, LET became a member of the Passavant Memorial Homes Family of Services. Passavant Memorial Homes has become one of the nation’s foremost, consumer-driven, providers of support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and behavioral health needs.

Passavant Memorial Homes has experienced tremendous growth through the development of its related corporations, Accessible Dental Services, Life Enrichment Trust, InvivaSpan Health, PDC Pharmacy, and Passavant Memorial Homes Foundation, and are together known as the Passavant Memorial Homes Family of Services.

Just as a family cares for one another, these companies offer a wide range of supports to address the special needs and unique desires of individuals with disabilities. These specialized services address the needs of the individuals we support and are available to the entire intellectual disabilities, and behavioral health communities.

Five powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?

It is the mission of the Life Enrichment Trust to protect the financial assets of consumers and ensure that eligibility for services is preserved by acting as a financial fiduciary and as a resource to consumers with intellectual disabilities and behavioral health needs.

Life Enrichment Trust, Inc., as a court approved corporate fiduciary, allows people to safeguard assets and plan for the financial future of their loved ones with disabilities, without the risk of endangering funding for the needs of the individual.

The little luxuries of life come with a price tag. The financial ability to take a vacation, fly to visit a relative, or purchase a computer, stereo or television is often taken for granted. Relatives want to include their loved ones with disabilities in their estate planning, but in doing so, can unknowingly disqualify them from funding, causing more harm than help.

Life Enrichment Trust provides a secure means to provide financially and does exactly what the name implies---enriches the lives of individuals with disabilities!

What makes The Life Enrichment Trust Different?

We offer multiple options! Needs vary with each person, that is why we have multiple options for you to consider when preserving assets.
Burial Accounts
Pooled Trusts
Payback Trusts
3rd Party Funded Trusts

We have low, easily understood fees!

When others don't, we offer low enrollment amounts--you can even set up an account with a $0 balance so your account is ready when you need it!

Did you know some trust account services will not allow you to set up an account unless you have $100,000 or more?
When others don't, we offer generous handling of any “Residual Amounts"!

Did you know some trust services will not release ANY of the residual amounts?
When others don't, we offer No Minimum Account Balance Thresholds!

Did you know some trust services will not allow you to withdraw any amount of your deposited monies until you have reached a certain minimum account balance?
None of these are issues with the Life Enrichment Trust!

Four Reasons to Consider a Special Needs Trust today:

1. If your organization is largely Medicaid funded, individual financial eligibility determines your funding and cash flow!

2. Individuals build assets more frequently than many think! Consider these basic ways that assets accrue:

Employment
Family Inheritance
Gifts
Personal Injury Settlements
Saving their money!

3. Engaging in regular "Spend Down" activities is wasteful and not person or family-centered!

4. Government funding simply does not cover all activities of interest!
