Animal Recovery Mission
A VANGUARD DEFENSE ORGANIZATION
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
ARM is a Vanguard Defense organization that combats the many revolting and thriving industries that victimize animals worldwide. ARM was originally founded to challenge the unlawful suffering endured by animals close to home in southern Florida. ARM began by exposing the widespread presence of animal cruelty crimes associated with illegal animal slaughter, underground animal fighting, animal sacrifice and black-market trade of horse meat. Today ARM has become a leader in the war against these and other cruel practices that affect billions of animals worldwide. ARM’s Factory Farm Division targets the inhumane treatment of animals in industrial agriculture. The Disaster Response Division responds to large-scale emergencies affecting both domestic animals and wildlife. The Conservation Division fights to protect marine wildlife migration and whole ecosystem health. The Sanctuary Division rescues the most vulnerable and provides survivors lifetime care.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Illegal Animal Slaughter, Sacrifice and Fighting Farm Operations
One of ARM's primary focuses within the State of Florida, is the investigation, elimination and animal rescue of abused and tortured animals who are traded, exploited and/or butchered illegally on what are referred to as illegal animal slaughter, sacrifice and fighting farms. In this geographical area ARM also conducts ongoing investigations upon the Black Market Horse Meat trade- illegal backyard operations of organized criminal activity and egregious animal cruelty.
Factory Farm Divison
In 2017, ARM conducted four simultaneous investigations upon four dairy farm operations, located in the State of Florida. It also executed undercover investigations upon the Cal-Maine Foods Inc egg production facility in Lake Wales.
Following the epic abuse and torture that was revealed following these intensive animal cruelty investigations, ARM continues to shed light upon animals who are victim to the food industry.
ARM continues it's investigations in these areas. 2019 Budget to be released in the coming weeks.

ARM Animal Sanctuary Division
ARM established its Animal Sanctuary Division to enable the lifelong rehabilitation and care of the animals which it rescues, following the closure of animal cruelty operations which it investigates. The majority of these animals are farm animals who have the least protection of all animals. Currently ARM Sanctuary homes 220 residents.
In 2018-2019, ARM is incorporating the Sanctuary Division as its own entity.
2019 Budget to be released in the coming weeks.
Disaster Response Division
In 2018, ARM officially launched it's Disaster Response Division to aid in the search and rescue of animals inn need, following natural disasters such as fires and hurricanes.
A team of six travelled to California to assist in the largest fires in the states history, specifically to the Woolsey Fires (Malibu)
This is a brand new division and is in need of critical equipment and funds to be able to respond at a moments notice. Program Budget to be releases in the coming weeks.
