What we aim to solve
At RCPT-USA, we believe in the motto "More Than Just a Jump." This phrase encapsulates our mission to go beyond parachuting by fostering a sense of community and support for our veterans and patriots. To date, our efforts have led to the incredible result of saving 12 veterans' lives, who otherwise would have lost the battle with their demons. It's very likely the numbers are higher, but our data reflects only those veterans who have voluntarily disclosed this information. We believe that camaraderie, combined with a shared passion for parachuting and military history, has resulted in this impactful outcome. RCPT-USA acts as a support network for veterans, offering them not just an outlet but also a renewed sense of purpose and belonging.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Training and Proficiency
RCPT-USA offers two training and proficency events a year (Spring and Fall) where veterans and interested people can sign up for basic and or refresher training for military style static line round canopy parachuting training. These programs offer opportunities for like minded people to come together and share their passion for all things Airborne.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
The Round Canopy Parachuting Team-USA Foundation (RCPT-USA) is the U.S. chapter of an international commemorative parachuting organization composed of veterans and patriots dedicated to continuing the legacy of the elite paratroopers of the Allied forces. A 501(c)(3) registered non-profit, 100% run by volunteers with no paid staff, that caters to both veterans and civilians by providing a place to connect with like-minded individuals, honor the past, and remember our heroes, reminding our members that they remain part of something greater than themselves.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Core to our mission is the reconnection with skills learned through rigorous military training and providing hands-on experiences that many veterans believe are no longer valuable or available to them. We focus on serving veterans who struggle to integrate into civilian life and patriots who have never had the opportunity to challenge themselves or to honor a family member's legacy. We take the skills honed from years of practical experience on active duty and apply them so that our members can experience the thrill of getting their “knees in the breeze” once again. RCPT-USA conducts training and proficiency operations throughout the year in Palatka, Florida. RCPT-USA also performs commemorative parachuting demonstrations across the United States and on the former battlefields of Normandy and the Netherlands. Parachutes are indispensable tools in these activities, ensuring safe landings and fostering confidence in our members.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Ensure Safety: New parachutes will meet industry safety standards, providing peace of mind during training and emergency scenarios.
Enhance Learning: Participants will benefit from equipment used by veterans and active-duty soldiers, allowing for the most effective training techniques and procedures.
Empower Participants: By supporting this purchase, you empower individuals to develop critical skills such as teamwork, decision-making, and resilience in challenging situations.
Additional Information
History and Heritage: Founded in 2011, RCPT-USA is committed to preserving the heritage of World War II Airborne soldiers by participating in commemorative events, reenactments, and historical displays. We strive to honor the sacrifices made by these brave men through our educational outreach and preservation efforts.
Membership and Community: RCPT-USA boasts a diverse membership that includes veterans, active-duty military personnel, and civilians. We foster a strong sense of community and camaraderie, offering members a supportive network and opportunities for personal growth and development.
Educational Programs: In addition to our parachuting activities, we offer educational programs and workshops that cover topics such as military history, leadership, and teamwork. These programs aim to instill a deeper appreciation for the values and traditions of the Airborne forces.
Veteran Support: RCPT-USA is dedicated to supporting veterans by providing them with a sense of purpose and belonging. Through our programs, we help veterans reconnect with their military roots and offer a pathway to healing and personal growth. Our network of veterans and supporters is instrumental in providing a strong support system for those in need.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
To address these challenges and continue delivering life-changing, and sometimes life-saving experiences, we are seeking support that will enable us to acquire nearly 1,500 parachutes that meet stringent safety requirements, allowing us to maintain and expand our operations across the United States, providing opportunities to countless veterans and patriots.
