Aging and Caregiver Services

By helping older adults age with dignity and maintain their
independence, Jewish Family Service’s experienced professionals strengthen the lives of older adults and the lives of their families
• Center for Holocaust Survivors: Jewish Family Service provides Holocaust survivors with case management; home visits; restitution assistance; counseling and referral; social therapeutic activities; free hearing tests; and safety/adaptive equipment.
• AgeWell, a one-call connection to community resources
• Care Solutions for Aging Parents
• CareLink private pay geriatric care management practice responsible for assessing, managing, and overseeing the total care needed to live well and thrive
• Care Management
• Supportive Counseling for families
• Center for Russian Speakers- Just as Jewish Family Service helped more than 2,000 emigrants from the Former Soviet Union navigate the challenges of resettlement two decades prior when they emigrated, its newly-established Russian Speakers Senior Center helps this population navigate the challenges of aging, connecting them to their peers and the Jewish social service community.

Jewish Family Service strengthens lives by providing experienced

and respectful guidance.

• Celebrate Adoption support group for adoptive families

The Jewish Family Service Education and Mentoring program enriches lives by providing interactive learning opportunities for all, and supportive direct services for to help youth grow to be successful adults.

• Bigs & Littles Youth Mentoring promotes the healthy development of youth ages 9-12 by matching them 1:1 with positive adult role models who guide them in developing social-emotional skills necessary to succeed in school and life.

• Mental Wellness Education

When families or individuals are in crisis, they can count on Jewish Family Service Barbash Vital Support Center to strengthen their lives by providing assistance with medical or utility bills, and case management to support their efforts to attain self sufficiency, socio-psychotherapy activities, and food from our Heldman Family Food Pantry .
