What we aim to solve
Pure Hope Coalition (“pureHOPE”) exists to shape a world free of sexual exploitation and brokenness by providing biblically rooted content and experiences that equip and inspire people in the midst of a sexualized culture. We are founded on the reality that those who hope in Jesus “purify themselves as He is pure” (1 John 3:3), and this transformative truth, that Jesus is our Pure Hope, animates all of our ministry endeavors.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Quest - Parenting in a Sexualized Culture
Quest: Parenting in a Sexualized Culture is a unique, world-class small group resource that responds to the four most pressing questions parents are asking in our culture: 1) What does the Bible say I should believe about sex? 2) How do I talk to my kids about it? 3) How do I manage my family’s technology use? and 4) How can I lead my kids when I’m not perfect myself? And leaders around the nation are employing it. As one pastor has said: “This is the most practical curriculum and a ‘must’ for every 21st century parent!” Through our website and RightNow Media, it was accessed almost 5,000 times this year (representing thousands more individuals impacted through small groups), and we have begun translation into Spanish and French after cultivating international distribution of this resource through African and Latin American ministry partnerships.
Our Quest Conference experience has impacted families and cultures in churches across the country, including Central Church, and this year we will grow that impact by launching a world-class podcast that will both reach untapped audiences, as well as provide ongoing and deepening equipping for individuals and couples who have experienced the Quest conference or small-group series. We will also translate the series into Spanish and French, and integrate it more fully into other content and conference opportunities presented by our large network of church, school, ministry, and media relationships.

Goals & Strategy
Learn about the organization's key goals, strategies, capabilities, and progress.
Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
1. Equip parents to engage their kids and navigate the sexualized cultural minefields every family faces.
2. Equip people to pursue justice and oppose sexual exploitation in their homes, city and world.
3. Help people who need to break free (or know someone who needs to break free) from sexual addiction take the first steps necessary to enter the road to recovery.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Parenting - Through seminars, conferences, print and online resources, we aim to meet parents where they are at by providing them a biblical understanding of sex and awareness of the broader culture's distortions of sex, so that they are equipped to instruct their children and cultivate an informed, grace-based environment within their families. Our seminars aim to send parents out with specific strategies and solutions they can implement immediately and also build upon over time.
Justice - Provide resources and bible studies to help people understand the injustice of sex trafficking and the connection it has to the demand for pornography.
Recovery - Offer referral treatment to those who have been hurt by the impact of pornography on their lives. Provide education and consultation to pastors and counselors on how to help their clients.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Our content and events are designed to equip Christian parents and influencers with insight and inspiration for living, centered on three core biblical concepts: 1) that sex is about identity before activity; 2) that purity is attained through relationship, not accomplishment; and 3) that the PURE life we are called to is a lifestyle of prayer, understanding, resolve, and engagement.
Through teaching, discipleship, consulting, thought leadership, and ministry of presence, we are equipping a new generation of parents and the next generation of leaders through world-class content, events, and catalytic collaborations to undermine injustice and cultivate reconciliation.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We concentrate our time and resources in three areas in order to work towards a world free of sexual exploitation and brokenness:
Content — Telling the better story of sex.
God has the best design, the best story, and He gives us the best strategy to walk the path of life even amidst a perverse generation. Our resources tell the story and tease out these strategies, to empower parents and influencers to model the pursuit of purity and guide their children and disciples to steward the powerful gift of their sexuality. Hear how pureHOPE is taking shame out of the conversation:
"YES! This changes everything. We have something good and exciting to share instead of fear and control."
Conferences — Tailoring experiences to equip parents and influencers.
Our conference team partners with churches, Christian schools, and community organizations to bring clear, scriptural teachings infused with worship, panel discussions, Q&A, round tables, and next-step resources. Attendees leave with compelling vision, Biblical insight, and practical tools to confidently approach the topic of sex and create a tech strategy for their home. Hear how disciple-makers are being refreshed:
“I don't think I ever understood how to pursue purity. I so want to do for my kids what wasn’t done for me. The wisdom and tools you gave me was like a cold glass of water in the desert. I always knew I needed to talk to him, but you have equipped me with the tools to do it. You are making an eternal impact in my family and thank God for pureHOPE!”
Consulting — Training leaders around the world.
We come alongside church, ministry, and lay-leaders to help them proclaim God’s story of sex faithfully, courageously, and effectively in their unique setting—whether the most pressing cultural issue is polygamy or pornography, and whether the primary audience is single parents, two-parent homes, grandparents, or dedicated mentors. Hear how leaders are multiplying impact:
“pureHOPE was a God-send in helping me with training and equipping our people around sex and purity—sharing information that brought revelation, which ultimately caused reformation and restoration of lives.”
