Mission
Mission: Preserve the legacy of the Packard Motor Car Company through the restoration and preservation of the Packard Proving Grounds and use this historic site educating future generations about Packard’s legendary achievements in automotive, aeronautical, and marine history. Vision: The PMCF tells the story of the Packard Motor Car Company through its people, its products and its contributions to the significant events of the 20th century. We do this by preserving and restoring the Packard Proving Grounds, by curating a collection of its products, and by maintaining the historical archives of this American automotive icon.
Notes from the nonprofit
The Packard Proving Grounds is a work-in-progress. The foundation is attempting to do two things at once. That is, restore a 17-acre campus of architectually significant buildings and simultaneously creating interpretive exhibits to educate the public on the products, people and property of the Packard Motor Car Company.

Photo Digitization Program
Scan, at museum-quality standards, 40,000 images produced by the Packard Motor Car Company. These images are a combination of positives, negatives and transparencies of a sizes ranging from 3.5"X5" to 8"X 10" and larger.
