aka Women of Faith and Power Ministries, Inc.   |   Beaufort, SC

Mission

Women of Faith and Power, founded in 1997 grew out of the need to aid senior's and disabled people so that they would not have to go to all the hassle of finding adequate finances to enhance their meager income and to help them fight for their rights to certain daily needs, such as, shelter, food, clothing, advocacy services, meds and good health care. We feel that empowering them is a better answer rather than enabling them. With the proper guidance and skills our clients are able to not only help themselves but also others.

We work to prevent homelessness among Seniors and people with disabilities, but we will not discriminate if their is a family or individual who is facing homelessness.

Our primary focus is keeping people safe and off the dangerous streets.

Help For The Homeless & Underpriviledged

Women of Faith and Power's program includes home visitation, group support, consultation services for all needs, educational opportunities and even visitation in the hospital or nursing home on a regular basis. We have Pastoral care 24 hours, 7 days a week for all that request us. We sponsor an annual community function each year to encourage the community to network together, so that these individuals can get acquainted with other providers. We work together with other agencies, churches as a collaborative effort to meet the needs of our clients and the community at large. We will continue to work with organizations such as Children and Family First, The Interdenominational Ministerial alliance and Pathway Partners.
