What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Mental Health Care/Substance Abuse Treatment

A full range of mental health and integrated substance abuse services are offered, including pharmacotherapy, mental health and AoD assessments, behavioral health counseling, community psychiatric supportive services.

Population(s) Served

HRC clients receiving mental health services often have unmet health needs. Every mental health client completes a physical health self assessment form which is reviewed by a nurse practitioner at a face-to-face appointment. Mental health clients may make appointments to be seen by a HRC physician for episodic medical care.

Population(s) Served

Multidisciplinary internships are available to counseling, social work, medical and nursing students, and psychiatric residents. The experience educates students in the needs of underserved populations, the value of multidisciplinary care and service, and policy gaps to health care.
