What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
The Boca Fund
The Boca Fund - works to promote veterinary medical services for low income, financially struggling pet owners. The goal of the Boca Fund is that no companion animal should ever have to suffer in pain or die because their caretaker does not have the funds available to get the necessary veterinary care to save its life. We also work to educate pet owners so they practice responsible pet care. We also work to educate and inform veterinary institutions so they fully understand their role in service to all of America's pets.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
The Boca Fund, Inc. is working to educate, promote and fund Non-Profit, Full-Service Community Veterinary Care Clinics throughout the United States. These clinics would provide access to veterinary care for financially struggling pet owners. We are also working to encourage more veterinarians of race and ethnicity.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
One: Create a academic report that defines the need:
Is the Veterinary Profession Serving All Companion Animal Medical Needs in America Today?
A Case for Full-Service, Low-Cost, Non-Profit Community Veterinary Care Centers
Two: Distribute this publication to all concerned.
Three: Promote in the Media
Four: Speak at conferences
Five: Donate $100,000 as seed money for these clinics
Six: Ask other foundations to join us.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We have $3 million earmarked fore this project.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We are in the final stages of publishing our report "A Case for Full-Service, Low-Cost, Non-Profit Community Veterinary Care Centers."
