Preservation of Existing Housing
OakCLT acquires and permanently preserves existing occupied housing in partnership with current residents to prevent their displacement, stabilize their tenancies, and work with them to establish cooperatively controlled housing on community-owned land.

OakCLT has various resident committees that are designed to provide spaces for the beneficiaries of our organization to develop new programming and strategies for the organization. We also convene a monthly meeting of OakCLT residents to solicit feedback, ideas, and concerns and to create additional opportunities for resident leadership.
