Mission

Our mission at Casa de los Angelitos strives to provide a safe and secure, compassionate, yet, structured living environment for our pregnant young women, in order that they may be better prepared for the future with their new family. Our goal is to try and break the vicious cycle of their “Revolving Door of Pregnancy & Homelessness”. Casa de los Angelitos encourages its residents to continue their education, establish goals and move forward in a positive, responsible way to ensure a full, happy and productive life for their new family.

Notes from the nonprofit

Our house is ready to accept residents after the preparations have been made in consideration of the effects of COVID-19. We hope this GuideStart updated profile will help us in our fundraising as we fill the house with women again.

New Hope Breaking Free Program

Casa de los Angelitos, located in Harbor City, California, is a 501(c)3 non-profit, non-denominational maternity, housing/educational program for homeless pregnant women. Casa de los Angelitos is open to pregnant women of any race, religion, nationality and financial status. Casa promotes healthy pregnancies and births by securing appropriate medical care and providing comprehensive education in pre and post natal care, labor and delivery, counseling, parenting classes, continuing education and transitional housing assistance.

    We are changing some of the house rules in response to feedback from the people we serve. We are making the house rules more inclusive based on feedback from the people we serve.
