The KCNC Foundation supports the needs of foster youth and families in Kern County. Funds are used for emergency needs such as transportation, health care and other basic life needs to support our youth. In many cases funds are used to help transition youth and families into better living conditions by assisting with security deposits, appliances and other necessities.

To facilitate the transition from foster youth to employment and self-sustainability. To assist families in preventing child abuseImproving the quality of life for Kern County. To improve the quality of life for Kern County children.

Provide assistance with basic emergency needs that other organizations are not able to provide. Operate the Dream Center, the "go-to" place for foster youth to receive comprehensive services.

26 years of experience serving Kern County children and a Governing Board comprised of the top leaders in the public and private sectors.

The relocation of the Dream Center to a new 5,000 square foot facility has greatly expanding services. Youth continue to be served during the COVID-19 pandemic.
