Mission
The Binky Patrol is a national, all volunteer organization that makes quilts and blankets for children in crisis. There are chapters all over the country. Our handmade items are given to children who are in vulnerable situations and need some things to call their very own and cuddle while life seems to be upside down for them. We seek donations of fabric, batting, yarn, and all types of sewing equipment. We also need volunteers who are willing to give some time to children in need.

What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
We seek donations of fabric, batting, yarn, and all types of sewing equipment. We also need volunteers who are willing to give some time to children in need.
We have very little overhead expenses. We maintain a website that helps recruit volunteers who are then sent to chapter coordinators who provide donated fabric and yarn to the volunteers and then distribute the finished goods to local social agencies that need things for the kids. There is not one paid member of the organization. All donated funds go to the chapters work. You can check out individual chapters on the website www.binkypatrol.org.
We have distributed over 300,000 binkies since 1996.
Community Service
Sometimes people need to earn hours of community service. We are here for them. For those working off non-violent crimes, nothing involving children, we give them easy instructions on how to make a difference by making blankets to deliver to the children and teens in need in their community.
