Youth Education & Development

DAYS Long Beach provides a continuum of services to support the educational and personal development of youth within the Long Beach community.

Our three Youth Education and Development activities are:
After School Programs
Summer Day Camp
Be S.A.F.E. (Summer Activities in a Friendly Environment)

These activities are made accessible through transportation assistance, language support and translation, with almost all programs remaining free of charge for every participant.

Through our extensive partnerships and collaborations, DAYS Long Beach also offers numerous additional services that affect the daily lives of our clients.

For many of the youth we serve, DAYS Long Beach is a lifeline to changing their lives and becoming productive and confident young adults.

DAYS Long Beach understands that supporting the needs of the youth in our community also requires us to support the needs of their family. Families are the cornerstone of success for many youth. Unfortunately many families lack knowledge or access to the resources needed to support increased success for their children. DAYS Long Beach works with our partners to ensure the families in our community have the support needed to be a resource for their children and the community as a whole.

Our three Parent and Family Services activities are:
