Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
The primary aim of the WCRF is to involves ourselves in numerous clinical trials to potentially improve the cure rates of women diagnosed with gynecologic cancers.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We are routinely meeting with medial liaisons from numerous biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies to discuss clinical trial opportunities on which we can enroll our gynecologic cancer patients.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We have professionally trained research coordinators who frequently scrutinize clinical oncology protocols to
determine which studies are the most relevant (i.e., studies based on frequency of patient diagnoses and inclusion/exclusion criteria) to the patient population whom we serve.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
The WCRF has been involved in numerous first line ovary
Cancer studies that have significantly impacted patient
Treatment practices. Additionally, we have published more than 150
Cancer studies in peer-reviewed medical journals over the previous
15 years. We are considering the further expansion
of the WCRF with the intent to serve additional patients and involve
ourselves in more extensive clinical trial opportunities.
