Our programs

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Arts Programs

We offer an-ongoing track of programs that use the arts to explore and educate about religious diversity. Past programs offered include interfaith architecture tours, an interfaith storytelling festival, an interfaith photography exhibit and facilitating a talkback after a play dealing with a man's crisis of faith and subsequent spiritual journey.

Population(s) Served

Community Conversations is Project Interfaith's annual speaker series which is offered regularly in Omaha and open to all community members. For this track of programs, we bring in nationally-renowned speakers to engage the community on issues related to faith, religion, identity, interfaith relations, and religious diversity.

Population(s) Served

We prepare and support professionals in our schools, hospitals, workplaces, and communities to work with and serve people of all faiths and beliefs. We especially target professionals such as educators, health care providers, social workers and caregivers who work with the most vulnerable populations in our communities (children, the elderly, the sick and the disabled) as individuals within these populations may not be able to advocate for their own religious and cultural needs.

Population(s) Served

We develop programs to address a wide variety of timely topics that are of interest to community members. Past programs include interfaith study circles, community conference on faith and the environment and an interfaith holistic health fair.

Population(s) Served

Project Interfaith is committed to supporting the next generation of community-based interfaith leaders. Through internships, workshops and online forums we are helping to professionalize the field of interfaith work and to cultivate community interfaith organizers and leaders.
