Healthy Aging Center

The mission of the Healthy Aging Center is to promote healthy aging and link people with resources so they may continue to lead happy, rewarding and fulfilling lives while living independently in the community. We provide a full array of services for seniors and adults age 50-59 with disabilities including transportation, supportive services, health and wellness programs, and congregate and home delivered meals.

Sisterhood is an after-school and summer arts and literacy program (Summer of Sisterhood) that prepares girls ages 10 - 18 from Cleveland’s west side for womanhood and their life beyond. Sisterhood helps girls learn the skills they need to maintain high self-esteem, succeed academically, and reach future success. Girls are engaged in the use of language creatively and purposefully as a form of self-expression and as a means to enhance critical thinking.

Women and girls

Community-Based Services works intensively with families to prevent involvement with Children Services and advocates for families currently navigating the Child Protective Services System. As advocates we attend family team meetings and provide visitation space for families within their community. Social workers connect families to services through thousands of referrals annually.

W4S empowers parents through the successful completion and comprehension of the ACT Parenting Course including W4S Warm Up and Graduation sessions, and attendance at monthly Family Night and First Fridays meetings where they participate in interactive workshops with other community parents that are responsive to the challenges and needs that they identify.
