Mission

We empower people on their journey to independence through the sale of goods. which supports employment programs and family services. Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio, Inc. is n over 100-year old social enterprise that works closely with other non-profit agencies as well as community businesses to prepare people for a variety of stable career options and in turn, a more productive and sustainable way of life. Revenue from its retail stores helps Goodwill provide people with the life changing, skill-building programs and services needed to remove common barriers to good jobs. In 2018, Goodwill impacted the lives of 14,518 residents in the 10 counties it serves.

Three overarching strategies drive the focus of Goodwill's strategic plan; grow revenue, expand impact and engage employees. Feeding into those strategies are agency goals that address strategic collaborations, board and employee development, community partners, mission, retail, donations and marketing. More than 100 action steps provide tactics and measurement for leadership, volunteers and staff.

In 2022:

-20 million pounds diverted from landfills
