What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
St. Augustine Child Enrichment Center
The St. Augustine Child Enrichment Center, a five-star early learning and childcare center located on the St. Augustine Health Campus, provides a safe, loving, and nurturing atmosphere where children can learn, grow and develop. Located on the St. Augustine Health Campus and just minutes from downtown Cleveland, the Child Enrichment Center is licensed by the State of Ohio to serve infants beginning at 6 weeks through pre-school. A school-age program for children (5-12 years) is also available during the summer months.
Older Adults Home Delivered Meals
St. Augustine’s home delivered meals program provides home delivered lunches to senior citizens 60 and older, who are unable to leave their home and find it hard to prepare nutritious meals.
Last year more than 49,000 meals were provided for older adults through our congregate and home delivered meals programs in the Detroit-Shoreway neighborhood.
The meals are prepared with the dietary needs of seniors in mind. All meals are certified by a registered dietitian to meet one-third of the RDA.
It is important for seniors to receive the proper nutrition in order to remain healthy and live independently in their homes as long as they wish. Meals are delivered to their door, Monday – Friday. There is no charge, however we gladly accept donations. The recommended donation is $.75 per meal.

Founded in 1956 by the Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne, Holy Family has been the forerunner in the greater Cleveland area in caring for patients and families facing a terminal illness when life expectancy is measured in months, weeks or days.
Holy Family Hospice brings expert care, peace and comfort to patients and their families, wherever they live (personal home, assisted living, nursing home, inpatient facility - Holy Family Home in Parma) while enabling them to live fully, with comfort and dignity, to the end of life.
Our dedicated staff provides the highest degree of specialized care through a compassionate approach. Care is provided at home, whenever possible, providing relief from pain and easing of symptoms. We work with patients and families by providing emotional and spiritual support at a time when it is needed most.
The interdisciplinary team at Holy Family combines expert medical care, pain management and emotional and spiritual support to help shepherd patients and families through this final journey. We offer compassionate care while affirming the dignity and sanctity of human life. The professional staff is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Comprehensive services include:
Pain and symptom management, medication, medical supplies and equipment
Practical care such as bathing and assistance with daily activities
Spiritual and emotional support in accordance with the family’s own religious network

Holy Family Home Health Care & Palliative Care
Holy Family provides Medicare-certified home health care and private duty services focused on individual well-being. We provide staff with a knack for knowing when to listen and how to help. Home health care offers personal assistance in the privacy and comfort of your own home. Skillful care coordinators extend the work of our Ministries, matching your needs with the right resources.
Palliative care (pronounced pal-lee-uh-tiv) is specialized care for people facing a serious illness. This type of medical care is focused on relieving suffering from the symptoms and stress of a serious illness. The goal is to improve quality of life for both the patient and their family.
Palliative care is provided by a specially-trained team of doctors, nurses and other specialists who work together with a patient’s other doctors to provide an extra level of support. It is appropriate at any age and at any stage in a serious illness, and it can be provided along with curative treatment.
