Serving Stark, Carroll, Tuscarawas, Harrison, and Jefferson Counties, Habitat for Humanity East Central Ohio is a grass-roots, non-profit Christian ministry dedicated to eliminating substandard housing in the local community. Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat for Humanity provides hard-working, low-income families with an opportunity for homeownership that would not otherwise be possible. Families and individuals that partner with Habitat for Humanity help to build or renovate a home, then purchase their home with an affordable, zero-interest mortgage.
