What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

YouthBuild of Greater Stark County

Project REBUILD started in 1999 by Carolyn Hess as a means of improving the graduation rates in the City of Canton. After being introduced to a YouthBuild USA Affiliated Program in Dayton, Ohio, Ms. Hess chose to adopt the model of YouthBuild Programs – Education, Vocational Training, Counseling & Case Management, Leadership Development, and Post Program Success – and our program became an affiliate in 2003. We continue to work with young people between the ages of 16 and 24 that have not been successful in a traditional educational setting, are low income, are basic skills deficient, and may have had court involvement.
