Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
We are training life-long leaders starting at the elementary level all the way through high school. Our training is accomplished through workshop training, processing, and team building. These students take what they have learned back to their school to share with their fellow students.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
To deliver the purpose stated above, the IASC, Inc. shall establish five divisions, these being the Indiana Association of Student Councils High School Division, the Indiana Association of Student Councils Middle Level Division, the Indiana Association of Student Council Elementary Division, the Indiana Association of Student Councils Adviser Programming Division and the Indiana Association of Student Councils Alumni
Division.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Through the help of volunteers, we hold our programming throughout the state of Indiana. Our staff are primarily teachers and guidance counselors. We also use high school and college students to deliver the programming.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We recently accomplished a re-imagining of our Summer Workshop and we measure it as a success. We continue to grow and build our organization through the development or creating of professional relationships with other organizations in the state of Indiana. We will continue to grow and evolve our programming to the needs of all Hoosier students.
