Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Rebuilding Haiti Now's goal is to rebuild 1-2 schools per year, in the zone impacted by the earthquake of January 2010.

Rebuilding Haiti Now has carefully selected local construction partners, and schools that could benefit from our assistance. Each school is visited by Rebuilding Haiti Now's president and founder, together with our construction engineer/architect and school director.
We ensure that projects move along according to plan and budget by requesting monthly (sometimes weekly) update from the construction company. Reports are accompanied by photos that reflect work completed. 3-4 times a year, we visit project sites in person to ensure proper completion according to plans.
We speak fluent English, French and Creole which leads to improved communication between workers/partners in Haiti, and donors/supporters in the US and Europe.

We leverage our financial, business, project and marketing management skills acquired by working with F100 companies in the US. We also use our founder's background in education and non-profit / aid to development experience to provide assistance using a partnership format where each participant has a stake in the success of a given school rebuilding project.

To date, Rebuilding Haiti Now has repaired/rebuild 6 schools, serving a total of over 2200 students and over 70 teachers. The schools are:
Methodist School of Nicolas
Methodist School of Moliere
Methodist School of LaTremblay
Ste Therese School of Lavial
Preschool/Kindergarten of Lavial
Apostolique College of Vialet
We are currently rebuilding the Barrette Community School, scheduled to complete in September 2013.
We are looking for funds to support our next rebuilding project for the Etzer-Vilaire school, scheduled to begin construction in Autumn 2013.
