There is increasing need in the DFW area for food and clothing. These are basic needs and we are not the only organization doing our best to help, but everything we do is greatly appreciated.

Goals & Strategy

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Our organization has multiple programs:
- our food program provides hot meals to the homeless and working poor in the Lewisville area
- our Clothing Assistance Program allows families to choose items of clothing for each family member with the assistance of a personal shopper
- Love Thy Baby provides blankets and clothing to babies born into need in our county hospitals

We gather donations of gently used clothing and purchase new undergarments and shoes. Our volunteers make blankets and other items for new mothers. We raise funds to make all that possible.

Our clothing closet is hosted by the New Beginnings Church and our volunteers have work sessions at the Webb Chapel Church of Christ. Both these locations are at no cost to us, allowing us to put almost all funds raised into our programs.
Love Thy Neighbor has provided for those in need in the Lewisville area since 2010 and Love Thy Baby has provided baby items since 2019. Our experience allows us to maximum our resources.
Our board oversees the programs and raises funds to keep it all going year after year.

Love Thy Neighbor grew in budget and items provided every year until COVID. We are now back on track and looking to resume our growth. In 2023:
LTB spent $41k and distributed 36k items
CAP spent $44k and distributed 23k items
Food spent $7k and provided 3k meals
