Autoimmune Encephalitis: The Bridge Between Neurology and Psychiatry

Leading medical professionals shared information intended to enhance working relationships between neurology and psychiatry and improve diagnostic protocols and treatment plans for patients with Autoimmune Encephalitis. This medical symposium was held at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, New York on April 6th. Several experts in the fields of Neurology and Psychiatry spoke including Dr. Josep Dalmau, Dr. Arun Venkatesan, Dr. Maarten Titulaer, Dr. Sander Markx, Dr. Jana Gordon-Elliot, Dr. Jenny Blanchard, Dr. Harumi Jyonouchi, and patient caregivers Nesrin Shaheen, James Baldini, Dr. Karen McKinley, and Wanda Opdyke.
