Day and Work Services
Day Services creates a "meaningful day" for many who often have no where else to be during the day. Day Services in the classroom provides social interaction, activities, instruction, work, and therapies during the course of the day. 186 peopole with developmental and intellectual disabilities receive these services. For those with the desire and ability to work, CCI, our manufacturing workshop provides a job, a sense of self-worth and a paycheck.
CareerLinks
CareerLinks is an employment placement program for people with disabilities. All other programs at Cardinal serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. CareerLinks is the only program where we serve those with any disability, as defined by the state.
Working with employers, our job developers help people find and keep good jobs in the community. We find that even the most doubtful employer is usually pleasantly surprised to find his new hire is one of his hardest working, most loyal employees.
CareerLinks worked with 236 people last year, with 70% job retention.
