Mission

The Gideons International is an interdenominational association of Christian business and professional men and their wives, serving together in reaching people with the Good News of Jesus through personal witnessing and the distribution of God's Word in some 200 nations. Since its founding in 1899, over 2 billion Scriptures have been shared worldwide by The Gideons International. The Gideons' primary activity is spreading the Gospel, locally and globally. Particularly well known for placing Bibles found in hotel rooms, Gideons volunteer their services in communities where they live and work, accelerating evangelism efficiently and effectively.
