Mission Christian Peacemaker Teams: Building partnerships to transform violence and oppression. Vision A world of communities that together embrace the diversity of the human family and live justly and peaceably with all creation. Values Christian Peacemaker Teams is committed to work and relationships that: - Honor and reflect the presence of faith and spirituality - Strengthen grassroots initiatives - Transform structures of domination and oppression - Embody creative non-violence and liberating love CPT teams are invited by local peacemaking communities that are confronting situations of lethal conflict. Teams seek to follow God's Spirit working through local peacemakers who risk injury and death by waging nonviolent action to confront systems of violence and oppression.

Violence Reduction

CPT currently has four long-term operating teams which function to reduce violence in: Palestine, West Bank; Barrancabermeja, Colombia; Canada working for Indigenous Rights; and Kurdistan, Iraq. Additionally, CPT has organized short-term violence-reduction projects and campaigns in North America around issues of indigenous rights, inner-city violence, immigration justice and in general the violence found within North American cultures.
