Through a cappella performances of diverse musical styles, the New Tradition Chorus delights audiences, enriches lives and helps men who love to sing become the finest performers they can be, both as individuals and as members of an ensemble dedicated to artistic excellence.

Chorus rehearsals

The chorus meets weekly to learn music and receive instruction on vocal ensemble performance. To this end, we employ a paid musical director, we engage coaches from around the country, we rent a rehearsal hall, and purchase music.

The New Tradition Chorus organizes an annual all-day workshop teaching four part harmony singing to high school boys and girls in northeast Illinois. The program ends with an evening concert for friends and family that includes the participants, the New Tradition, and a college a cappella group.
