Mission

Nebraska Peace Foundation raises funds to support educational projects of Nebraskans for Peace that educate and enhance public understanding of peace and justice issues - which include many areas: climate change, gay and lesbian rights, minority rights, racism, women's issues, disarmament, reduced military spending, anti-nuclear weapons, environment, non-violent solutions to problems, the death penalty and many more areas that affect the exploited and disenfranchised.

While Nebraskans for Peace serves primarily the state of Nebraska and publishes a monthly newspaper, The Nebraska Report, the coverage of many issues, not just limited to Nebraska, are included in The Nebraska Report. Circulation of The Nebraska Report by mail goes to over 1,500 members and is available on the internet at: NebraskansforPeace.org.
