Title X Family Planning Project
Nebraska Family Planning (NEFP), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, provide Title X family planning services throughout the state of Nebraska via its network of nonprofit health care organizations that includes federally qualified health centers (FQHC), non-profit reproductive health care centers, community health centers (CHC), and critical access hospitals (CAH). NEFP was formed in 1991 as Family Planning Council of Nebraska, a coalition of Title X Agency representatives including development professionals; clinicians; and clinic administrators. In an effort to secure the Title X grant and expand family planning services statewide, NEFP enhanced its staffing structure and rebranded as Nebraska Family Planning in 2019. Upon being awarded the Title X grant for the 2019-2022 project period, NEFP assumed the role as Nebraska’s Title X grantee and aligned with Subrecipient Agencies (SAs) to advance equity and expand access to family planning and related preventive health services.
