Transitional Housing
A comprehensive supportive program that provides housing while clients participate in personalized support programs designed to help them maximize their independence and return to a permanent housing arrangement. Homelessness is a major problem in Chicago’s western suburbs. People that are homeless are also among the most at-risk for acquiring and spreading HIV. The challenges of both can seem insurmountable.
Canticle Ministries Scholarship
The first of its kind in the country; renewable scholarships of $3000 per year are awarded to HIV-impacted youth pursuing post-high school education. This growing scholarship is providing educational opportunities and hope to a very special group of students.
