What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Summer Intensive, Fall Into Spring, Chamber Music Competition

Both the SUMMER INTENSIVE and FALL INTO SPRING programs offer talented middle and high school string players a chance to work closely with musicians from the Atlanta Symphony and Atlanta Opera orchestras and with world famous masterclass artists. Both programs present informal play/talk concerts in the community and each program culminates in a formal Finale Concert.
The SUMMER INTENSIVE students meet all day two days a week for 5 weeks and go on a 4-day retreat to University of North Georgia.
The FALL INTO SPRING program students get 8-10 coaching sessions from October through April. This program collaborates with the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra.
The CHAMBER MUSIC COMPETITION, held in May on Memorial Day weekend each year, is open to any string chamber group of 3-8 students in the state of Georgia. They compete before a panel of distinguished judges on the stage of Spivey Hall at Clayton State University for money prizes.
